We brought in my clock to get looked at due to not working right. John took it all apart and found the issue. Would have cost more than what the clock was worth. He went beyond the call of duty and got it working which surprised me.
He is very reasonable as well hardworking when it comes to repairing one’s clock. Thank you John for everything!
Vintage ClockWorks have rebuilt 3 clock movements for me over the past year, a Gilbert Regulator, an Ingraham Long Drop and a Sessions Regulator. They are ready to run for many more decades.
John’s attention to detail and his technical knowledge are second to none.
If you need a treasured antique or vintage clock repaired then I would strongly recommend having John at Vintage ClockWorks for your servicing and restoration needs.
I took an electric advertisement clock to John because I couldn’t find a replacement movement. It had a badly worn-out wheel and did not run.
John found the right Ingraham movement on eBay and was able to replace the damaged wheel after replacing a bushing.
The clock was an artifact at the National Gallery of Canada. It is back at its proper location and is working very well.
Thanks John.
